Hello my name is Zac Roberts and I am a Level 1 Certified Yoga For BJJ Instructor.
I first started practicing yoga regularly in 2017 while trying to recover from lower back injury that I incurred as a competitive powerlifter. When I first started yoga I was broken, severely limited by years of neglected mobility and poor body mechanics. Over time, my body began to loosen. I felt I could move more freely and generally feel lighter.
In 2021 I began training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and noticed a huge amount of overlap between my yoga practice and BJJ training. While training regularly I obtained a Level 1 Yoga for BJJ Teacher Certification. I look forward to continuing training BJJ and furthering my education as a yoga instructor.
Our classes are for everyone regardless of athletic background, age, and current physical capabilities. You will be challenged. But you will also find that you will reap tremendous reward with humble, consistent practice and patience. I would be honored to have you train with me as we grow together to become more balanced, resilient, and virtuous as BJJ practitioners and human beings.
